In the month of April, many cities and states in our nation reached the so-called “apex” of this pandemic. New York State has had over 16,000 deaths; and the nationwide death count is over 55,000. Although this is a staggering number, the death rate is much lower than the White House estimation. We can see the end of this dark tunnel; and some states are ready to reopen businesses and churches. We are looking forward to being able to visit churches and friends again. The CRAM Worldwide team is staying busy during this work-from-home period.

After sending more than 30,000 pieces of personal protective equipment to U.S. hospitals in preparation for the outbreak of COVID-19, we were able to send 10,000 surgical masks to the Philippines despite its nationwide lockdown. God was truly at work to provide for the needs of the people in the slums. Besides masks, we were able to raise funds to provide relief for many fire victims. Yes, a nationwide lockdown and a huge fire took place at the same time. Our missionaries were busy sending both medical supplies and relief aid to the people who were affected by both tragedies.

Through the generosity of many of our supporters, the CRAM Worldwide team was able to order 20,000 N95 masks from Asia. We distributed these much-needed N95 masks to U.S. hospitals, doctor offices, fire stations, nursing homes, homeless shelters, and churches. We were so blessed to see many happy faces when they received these masks. Dear supporters, you have blessed thousands of people and lightened their lives by meeting their needs in this desperate time. We are so proud to be the hands and feet for you and Jesus Christ.

Going Forward
Even as many of us are ready to go back to work, the COVID-19 pandemic is still spreading. The CDC and HHS recommends that people wear masks when they go into crowded places like stores, offices, and churches. We want to continue to support nursing homes, hospitals, and churches. We want to keep our elderly and vulnerable people safe when they are out running errands and worshiping God. We want to bring more of these joyful reports to you and we need your support to continue this good work. Will you please partner with us in this ongoing awesome project?
“Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:7-8 NIV)
We want to say thank you a million times, and God bless you for everything that you do.
