Fire in Bacoor

While CRAM Worldwide was celebrating the new office that God has provided, our CRAM team on the other side of the world was rushing to provide help and compassion to the 1725 people who lost what little houses they had to a large fire near Love Church in Bacoor City, Philippines.

The night of June 20, a fire broke out in the Bacoor slum area just 120 feet from Love Church that totally destroyed over 348 homes. Fifty of those homes were families who are members of the Love Church. The 1725 people who have been displaced by this tragic fire are now taking shelter in Love Church and the local elementary school. For many families that are already struggling to just survive on less than $3 per day, this is a devastating loss that comes at a very bad time during the rainy season.

However, this tragedy provides one more opportunity for CRAM Worldwide to demonstrate the love and compassion of Jesus to the forgotten people of Bacoor City. CRAM Worldwide has already sent emergency funds to our CRAM staff to help meet the needs of food, shelter, and clothing for these displaced families. We are asking our partners in ministry to first get on your knees and pray for these families and our CRAM staff. Second, we are asking you to help provide whatever emergency funds you can to meet this great need.
