Hundreds of Homes (Shanties) Destroyed
Over 500 families in Bacoor City, the Philippines, woke up to discover they had lost their homes due to a massive fire.
It was reported that the fire started March 23 around 2:00 a.m. and was finally put out around 5:00 a.m. This fire has affected between 2,500 and 3,000 individuals. Initially, the victims were given a hot meal at a nearby school area.

CRAM Worldwide has established 5 churches in this area – with 1,500 members attending Sunday worship. This fire was near the Torch Church. Torch Church has been providing food through the Feeding Program. With this catastrophic event, we are asking for your help. We are serving food through the Feeding Program; providing clothes and sandals; and building new homes and repairing salvageable ones to help the fire victims restart their lives. We need to help them rebuild their homes and restore their lives to normalcy.

Please pray for these families and individuals who are now without homes in this difficult time of a world pandemic. Many of these people had already lost their jobs. (Bacoor has been on lockdown since March 20 after three COVID-19 positive cases were reported, with nearly 100 people being monitored.) This fire has worsened the situation for many families in the slums of Bacoor.
