Costs: We suggest each member of your team to budget $120/day during your trip. This will include a hotel room (shared by 2 people), 3 meals and local transportation. Any expenses beyond that need to be budgeted separately. Flight fares and mission related costs (supplies, gifts and medicines, etc.) are not included in this price.

Flights: When looking for flights to the Philippines, you will need to fly into Manila (MNL) first.The Ninoy Aquino International Airport is a very modern facility with English signage everywhere. You will not feel lost or lose direction. If you are lost, find airport staff and most of them will speak English. If you are departing from the U.S., the cities have direct flight to Manila are Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York, etc. The general fly time is between 15-18 hours. You will want to be comfortable during such an extended flight, resting and eating well is the key for an enjoyable journey. The airline tickets can be anywhere from $800 to $2000 depend on the season.
Hotel: Most hotels in Manila hold a very good standard for international tourists. Their facilities are usually very clean, with safe food and water for customers as well as hot water and WiFi.

Bacoor, Philippines
Every year, we welcome teams from around the world to participate in our mission field activities. Many of these mission trips include activities such as construction works, Bible teaching, discipleship training, medical treatments, teaching English, summer vacation Bible schools and camps, and church worships. We may be able to tailor other activities to your team’s specialty.
The Philippines is a nation with many islands scattered on the Pacific ocean. Bacoor, where our missionaries diligently working, has population of 600,000. With one of three people live in extremely poor condition. It only takes 30 minutes to drive from downtown Manila (the capital city) to Bacoor. The Philippines is a religious free country and most of the population are Catholic. The currency is Philippine Peso, the conversation rate is about $1 = ₱ 50. The voltage is 220V, which means, a converter is needed if you are bringing certain appliances. The majority of the population speaks Filipino, but people with higher education can speak English to a degree. Since the Philippines is a multi-ethnicity nation, many other dialects are being used as well.
The best time to visit the Philippines is from Jan. through March. It’s the coolest there, with temperature around 70-90 degrees Fahrenheit. April through September are the hottest seasons in the Philippines, with 100 degrees Fahrenheit and almost 100% humidity. You will feel like you are in a sauna room all the time. Oct. to Nov. is the rainy season in the Philippines, which is the cheapest time to travel, but you will need sufficient rain gear and coats!
