Cambodia

A beautiful nation of remarkable people who have a rich heritage in farming, ancient architecture, hospitality and small family businesses.    Just a few years ago, this tranquil nation came under a vicious attack from the Communist Dictator Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge.  Over 3 million of their 13 million people, including leaders, preachers, medical personnel, and teachers were targeted for more than 3 years.   Cambodia is now littered with large mass graves of this wicked assault on the decent people of this country.  Historians refer to these tragic years as the “Killing Fields”.  

  • Today, Cambodia needs the Hope that can only come from the resurrection power of Jesus Christ!
  • There is escalating hunger for hope that permeates the nation.
  • Just 3 hours outside of the capital Phnom Penh, is the provincial city of Kampong.    CRAM Worldwide is collaborating with local Christian leaders to plant seven Restoration Movement Churches and a medical clinic for the poor. 
  • One of our co-laborers, Pastor Jeon and his wife, Esther, have been serving in Cambodia for more than 12 years. They are presently raising and discipling more than 90 high school boys and girls who live on a compound adjacent to their church. 
  • From the ranks of these dozens, we are praying for a generation of world impact leaders: Preachers, Teachers, Medical servants, and Leaders for future church plants.   A Preacher Training School is being completed to train and disciple future leaders.
  • With God’s help, we would like to see several church plants and at least one new medical clinic every year for the next 5 years. Often, people walk for hours to find a church and spend a couple of days searching for medical assistance.    Bringing the church/schools/and medical ministries to their communities speaks volumes of the Love and Grace of God to their everyday lives!
